How can I learn about the device information of my computer?

Sometime it is necessary to learn more information about the devices of the computer. But there are some people who do not know about the way of it. Suppose you want to know detail about the hard disk of your computer. Or you want to uninstall a device. Now what can you do? I know some people do not about it.
