How can I copy a file by using DOS?

Today I am again talking about DOS. Today I am talking about how to copy a file by using dos. It not as easy as like copying file in windows operating system. You can copy any file by using a command in DOS. And it is “Copy” command. For copy any file by using copy command first of all write down copy after that give a space and write down the path of your file after that again give a space and then give the path where the file will be copied. You can understand about this command by seeing an example. Suppose you want to copy a file and it’s name example.txt and this files path is “c:\example.txt” and you want to copy this file to “d:\” for that after run the dos write down this:-

Copy c:\example.txt d:\

How can I delete any files by using DOS?

Hi all. In my last post about DOS I am talking about the date and time. Today I am talking about deleting any files by using DOS. You can delete any files by using. There are two ways to delete any files. In windows operating system it is no need to any command for delete. Those are “Del” and “Erase”. For delete any file by using DOS write down “Del” or “Erase” and then give the path of the files. Suppose there is a file which name is “technology.txt” and it is form the folder of “system”. Now you want to delete this file for that write down this command in DOS.

Del system/technology.txt Or Erase system/technology.txt

After write down any one press enter. Then DOS give you a massage for confirm to delete the file. Then write down “y” and press enter. By doing you can delete any files. How can I change my computer’s date and time by using DOS?

Hope all can understand my previous posts about DOS. Today I am also writing about DOS. Today I am giving a short description about the Date and Time in DOS. You can show the date and time easily by doing without any work in windows operating system. But you can not show the date and time in DOS without doing any work. After run the DOS write down “Time” for show the time. Then you can show the time and then you also can change the time. For learn more about the command of Time then write down “Time/?” and press enter. Now if you want to watch the Date then writes down “Date” and press enter. By doing this you can show the date. Then you also can change the date. For change the date type you wanted date and press enter or press enter without any press any key. How can I make a folder and use it by using DOS?

• Hi all how are you? Hope all is well. Today I am again writing about DOS. By reading my past posts I hope you can understand about DOC properly. Today I am writing about how to make a folder by using doc. First of all start the Command Prompt. I said about how to open Command Prompt in my past post. If you don’t see it. Then see it now. For see it click here. After run command prompt write down “MD” and write down the name of your folder. Now press enter. Suppose you want to make a folder which name is “Software” then write down “MD SOFTWARE” and press enter. By doing this you can make a folder and its name is “SOFTWARE”. Check My Disk Drive without using any software

• Today I am writing about an important event. It has so much importance. Everyone wants to make his computer freer and faster. All ever everyone wants to operate the computer without any problem and more generously. But sometime they face some problem. For that they are so angry about his computer. But it is simple matter. Computer is a machine so that it is not impossible to not facing any failure. If you do not take care your computer properly than you must face problem. You can learn this matter by showing a simple Example: - Suppose you have a cloth. You use it regularly. And this cloth is so nice and it is also so rich. But if you do not take care it, if you do not wash it properly then it losses it beauty. Then you fell so bored and you fell uneasy to wear it. But it is not cloth’s problem. It is your problem. Cloth has no any ability to work; it has no ability to wash itself. It is your work to wash it regularly and clean it. Computer’s problem is also same matter. If you do not take care it you must faces some problem. Here take care means check the drives. We all know that there are must some drives in a computer Hard Disk. Sometime you may load a so much data on the drive. For that it can not work properly and it faces problem. For solve this problem you need to check the drive regularly. You can check the drive by many ways. Today I am saying about a way to check the drive properly and so much easily. It is no needs to have used any other software for do this. You can check your computer’s drive by using DOC. It has a command for checking the drives. For check the drive first of all you must need to run DOC. I talk about opening the DOC in my past post but now I am again saying about the process. First of all click on Start Button. First of all click on Run. Now write down CMD and press Enter or click on Ok. Now you can find the program of DOC. Write here CHKDSK and press Enter. Now the dos check it automatically. After checking the drive it gives you a result. For learn more about CHKDSK write down CHKDSK/? And press on Enter. Then you can find more details about CHKDSK. I hope you all can make your computer more flexible by using the CHKDSK command.

Disk Operating System

Disk Operating System is a kind of Operating system. Now a days it is not find so much. But every new generation operating system is based on Disk Operating System(DOS). Now a days we use Windows XP, Windows 98 etc but all of those is based on DOS. All of those new generation operating system is worked by the process of DOS. But it is not so easy to work with it. And every person can not work by it. For work by it you must need to learn some command. There are so many command in dos. Without knowing all of those commands you can not work with DOS properly. MS Dos is created by Microsoft Corporation. You can work on dos form your Windows XP or Windows Vista easily but there you can not find all of those. For run it form your computer you must run. For open run you need to click on Start Menu then click on Run. Now type CMD. Then click on ok. After that you find a dos window. Here you can work. For run original DOS no need any hard disk. You can learn easily about all of those command and there work. For learn it write down HELP and press Enter. Then you can find the list of all commands. Today I talk about it because there is some work which is not possible form windows. So today write about it. I hope next time I will also write down about DOS and it command.
